PRIDE

​Everyone has experienced feelings of pride, yet sometimes it feels like we're more accustomed to knowing what shame feels like. One of the most important questions worth asking ourselves is this: Is my identity (and self-worth) a result of all the things I take pride in, or did it come to be as a result of avoiding feelings of shame? Whether you are an individual or group of individuals, we should all admire the tenacity it takes to live boldly in the face of the critic. Because nothing feels better than being the YOU, you deserve to be.
